Its funny, you also posted sometime ago that DJI would release a pro version of this drone. Its like if throw enough Sh@t at something it will eventually stick. But when clicks is your business keep throwing :+)

What would be "classic" about it?  Not understanding this.

I’m waiting for DJI to release a version of the Mavic 3 stand alone in other words with no controller. This would definitely increase sales along with the Mavic 3 Classic.

Maybe it will come with a motion cortroller

I would change name from Classic to ANCIENT !

DJI should have released a Mavic 3 like the combo pack but with the RC Pro as a complete package

Maybe classic means all features implemented and working prior to release.

There's also an SE version that comes without the telephoto and the enterprise version. I think it will be interesting to compare the photo quality between the standard, the classic and the SE, maybe they solved the circle of image problem and has better quality for photography than the standard.

In any case I have a lot of fun with the zoom, so I'll stay with the standard.

Wonder if DJI have applied a different coating to the lens try and reduce the green lens flare everyone complains about

Yes I know all lenses do this in the sun, but I never had half the trouble with my Mavic 2 Pro than what I did with the Mavic 3

Please, please give us a better coated lens

Or the fact its left a sour taste in peoples mouth due to the failed release

I purchased my M3 the day it came out and I did not have a single problem with it.

Can you buy the M3 drone only ? I already have a controller.

Releasing a Classic variant now (Basically the "normal" Mavic 3, just without the Zoom-Lens) would punish early adopters.

I really have zero use for this zoom feature as it is right now. The quality is just way too bad.
So if I had the choice back then to pick a "classic" variant to save ~200$, I would have taken it.

However, I'm somewhat interested in an updated Mavic 3S or SE variant, if it ad an actual good zoom lens (Mavic 2 Zoom + Mavic 3 sensor).
