Why does the function to 3.5 mm.phono port not include the ability to input like the FPV Goggles?  I hope there is a software update pending.

No, Goggles 2 do not support video input of ANY kind...
only thing you can do is stream certain video's (using a specific bunch of video players) to the goggles from the phone or PC using the wireless sharing / streaming function.

but you CANT stream the desktop, so only some media.

DJI needs to make this possible using usb-c....
(at least so we can use the virtual flight program on PC with goggles)

Doesn't work the Virtual flight app exactly this way? As far i can tell its just mirroring the Phone screen. So it seems not to be a Hardware lock but a Software lock? Would love to use this googles too for stuff like simulators on my Gaming Rig.

no.... not with PC....

i think this IS a software lock, and i would love to be able to use the goggles with PC.

We need more video input options with the goggles 2.. we all just "upgraded" and got LESS FEATURES! THIS ISNT RIGHT DJI.
