Very cool flight Corey.    That was some very ominous clouds and no doubt a storm brewing in the distance.

Really big storm cell to the south and moving quickly North. had to leg it to the car as soon as I landed. Just made it before it hammered down.

Now that truly reflects the saying: "run for the money".  Glad you made it back to the car before it poured down.  I had an older Mini 2 out for a flight and rain came up out of nowhere and by the time I got it back it was soaked.  Tried everything to dry it out properly but it eventually became a parts bird.

That's bad news for flying but I'm betting lots of locations would love to have some of that heavy rain and get rid of the drought conditions.

Yeah, the green is slowly re-emerging but still a lot more rain required.

Wish I could send over some of this daily rains we've been having here.  In the 20+ years I've lived here I've never seen so much rain in a month's time.  After all, Florida is supposed to be the Sunshine State and not the rainy state.

Sorry bro, but I'll pass on that offer, as it's almost the most miserable time of year in the UK. We have been lucky to have had such a hot spell, but it's no fun when we aren't used to it.

Thanks.  I learned a new term/phrase: Whoop Season.  I spent a tour at the American Embassy in London so I remember a bit of the weather changes over there.
