Took my P3 out today for a test flight, the damn Pilot Android App crashed on me at least 10 times during the 1 hour flight. (3 batt)

Is there a date of release yet for the new app (for andorid)?

No definitive ETA for you but it should be soon..

It's going to be interesting to see if the new app fixes fpv lag and stutter on android. Can't come soon enough.

Sounds like a device issue.

I was out yesterday flying using my Nexus 7 2013, and the app crashed numerous times.

Before yesterday I hadn't had any crashes, but I sure don't like the current stability on Android.

I fly with the nexus 7 2013 version and have had no issues with app crashing.  I completely reboot the tablet then place my tablet in airplane mode,  kill all other apps with Zapper task killer.  I have zero lag or freezing issues.

Ditto. No issues with my Nexus 7 II either.

No probes with my Sammy G-Tab S 8.4. Indifferent about the new app.

I use the same tablet. Rebind the controller for no signal issues.

My S6 Edge is horrible.  Video lags the entire time..........which is why I have to use my wife's iPhone.  

My Tab-S works great if i downgrade Google Play Services.
Would be great if the GO app works without downgrading GPS..

My Galaxy S5 has crashed now and then. It's been so hot here (central Florida) I've just assumed it's heat related. Guess I'll only be able to fly this thing in the winter!

Tab 4 10.1 and tab 3 8.4 run flawlessly. Even with Play services active.
