changed the setting to horizon just for a quick fly test and it does its job well.

The video you posted is from your goggles. The goggles recording will not include any horizon lock or rock steady. It's raw video footage. To see the effects of horizon lock you will need to get the video footage from the Avata either using the internal storage or an SD card.

Here is a video I created about that in case you are unsure how to get that footage.
