What a quaint town! Is that where the Vikings came inland? Some really cool patterns in that swamp area. Lots of potential!  Your images seem quite low resolution is quite hard to get a good feel for the images. Are you able to post higher res copies? Looks like they are maxing out at about 120kb you can go up to 2MB!

Thanks, I’m sure many invaders came up the river Colne back in the day… It’s not far from Colchester , so this was an important river in Roon times. I’ll have to work out how to get higher res on the site another time. I just set the import option to medium. I’m no technical expert on these things.

Thank you, I took off from Ferry Road Fingeringhoe to get the shots. A nice clear open space to fly in. I expect different tide states will produce plenty of options…

I finally sorted a 360 out, with Sky pixel, Wivenhoe taken from Fingeringhoe on the opposite bank of the river Colne in Essex UK
