I wonder what activities you typically combine with drone flights.

I usually combine hiking or cycling with some drone impressions.

Sometimes also scuba diving, example:


Do you combine acitivities with aerials, or do you prefer just going for a flight?

Amazing videos.    I've taken several of my drones with me on dive trips to capture some before and after footage but never combined the aerial and underwater footage into one video like you have in the 2nd video.  I will definitely give that a try.

My drone usually provides b-roll and establishing shots.

I am combing it when I go on vacation or for a hike. And yes, I do like combined videos (drone and cam). - And I use it to take some nice pictures e.g. during sunset

sure i think it's acceptable today especially when it's well done and well balanced.  in place of the airplane/helicopter, you have the drone today.  for example,  back in the day:
