I was watching a football game on tv sunday and they stopped the game because of a drone flying over the stadium. They held up the game for 8 minutes, later that evening on the CBS evening news they had a preson on there talking about changing the rulus on tracking drones that could effect your license renewal. Has anyone herd anything to that effect and if so what gives. Do us recreation flyers have to comply some new because some stupid &^%$# hole can't obay the rules. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the subject.

I'm sure the FAA is investigating this incident.  There will always be scofflaws.  This is just another example of why the FAA instituted the remote ID rules.

Scofflaws. I had to think about that word for a moment. Then the penny dropped

Guess it is more commonly used in legal circles.

Someone who flouts any law, especially those difficult to enforce, and particularly traffic laws.

Maybe an Americanism as well, I'd not come across it before.

Touché.  Point to you.  No doubt about it being an Americanism also.

Well then that works out perfectly.

I'm glad I wasn't out to sea for too long as I was starting to run low on fresh fruit and veggies.  Another 5 - 5 1/2 hours and I should be pierside at my dock.  why does a return trip always seem to take much longer that the trip to a destination?  No answer needed, I'm just musing out loud.

Thanks Mr. B.  I'm starting to see more and more of the pictures and drone videos of the devastation in the Fort Meyers and Cape Coral area.  Looks like a megabomb went off with nothing left in some places but the concrete foundations.  Also saw a video where a 5 foot shark was swimming down a flooded street.

It certainly is.  Unfortunately, with global warming comes more bad weather.

Global warming needs worldwide attention but unfortunately it will never happen.  The worst offending country will not even work toward minimizing it so appears to be a lost cause.  At least we can slow it down, even just a little bit.

The prospects of achieving Global accord are as gloomy as the weather.

Can we just find someone to invent a machine to control the weather,   then we can all have rain over night and lovely sunny days with regions marked out to have wind and not have wind etc,    then we'll all get more flight time in.

The Chinese have been trying to figure out how to control the weather for years, but they wanted to weaponize it also.  Would be cool to get a light overnight rain and then nice sunny days with little to no wind.

Is that where the hurricane gun conspiracy comes from then?

Could well be.  I also know they aren't the only country to try and experiment with the weather.  Best if we just leave the weather alone I think.

Well I seem to recall the USA made it rain with a process they called cloud seeding.  But the details are a little vague in my brain.

They did some scientific research into that but haven't heard anymore on it in quite a long while.  My thought is we should just leave the weather alone.

Seems a bit dangerous to me to mess with it.
