Enjoying an extended trip before the Winter grips us.  The Mini3Pro was able to overfly this ruin, which is out of bounds to the public, due to its dangerous condition.
Any ideas from this teaser image as to which castle it might be?  

Out of bounds for the public - that's a tough one, especially with the small crop. At least I need a bigger part and if it's not part of Cadw I have no chance anyway...

Odd,  google maps wasnt showing that when I was looking for the triangle part of the stone work but going back to check and it does now,  so fair enough.

Looks like a nice ruïn.
Next time that I visited the Loire region I must have a fly out there.

Had a lovely morning out but it became very windy and the drone struggled with the conditions.

lol when I first saw it I thought no way am I finding that.  

We're hitting 50mph gusts here today and intermittent rain showers. managed to get out and do 3 miles without getting wet,  SHMBO'd rang me about 10 minutes after I left to see if I wanted picking up,   she was surprised as it was hammering down at home but not for me round the corner.

The only place I can find that is vaguely close is Château de Lavardin and I wouldn't out money on it.

I'm no nearer to guessing your either. I got as far as an archery club and a football club with your "shot" inference.  But nothing concrete or resembling the picture.

I did spot it,  what I meant was I asked google for castles in Wales and that one didnt get highlighted.
