Thanks Depp. Yes it has magnificent views over the Loire valley.  The river is very depleted at the moment.

It's been an upmarket hotel for a while RDB - maintained in the style of the period. Closed now until 2025 - maybe for essential repairs?

Well at least it is super nice to hear that it has transitioned to use as an upscale hotel and not just torn down.  If it isn't re-opening until 2025 it must be going through some extensive renovations.
