Just booted my RC only to be advised that it needed updating to the latest firmware ! Downloaded and updated to 1.4 but shows as 1.3.2+ on the RC. No idea what the upgrade is supposed to address in terms of functionality or bugs as there's no mention of the upgrade on the DJI website.

Let's hope all is well with this release.

I haven't been asked to update the planes firmware (yet), but as you say the website still shows the original version - most odd.

What version of FW is the aircraft on ? Mine's on 1.3.2.

Mine says "May have to upgrade aircraft firmware"

Not checked this out yet ( working takes all the fun out of life ). If you are NOT running 1.3.2 and wish to remain on a lower version ( 1.2.6/8 or lower for whatever reason ) I would hold off on updating the controller JUST INCASE it is mandatory to do the aircraft too.

I will look into this after I have finished my life draining daytime activities

1.4 ?   1.4.x is only out as a DEV firmware ... bit odd your controller is automagically updating to it ...   Maybe DJI could chime in here?
