Not sure it this is the better shot. Liked the other one as well, nice to see the trees here.

BTW this is my running route, so a footpath runs across the top and around the trees you can see at the end of the hill. The trail continues through the trees you can see in the distance right of shot. It's an 8K loop, magnificent views and scenery to run in. It's a bloody hilly trail and at 8K it feels more like 15!
As for the two images, they were both taken on the same evening under very different lighting conditions as the sun set. A 5 AEB exposure combined into HDR. The darker shot without the sky shows off the contours well and has been lit and detailed to highlight it and create the dynamic look and folds of the hill.

Lovely shot - not really compairable to the other one. Both are well done and the scenery is just stunning. Thanks for sharing
