Hello People : Is this a new Android feature - dj go app starts automatically now ?  Before I would turn on the p3 Pro , then the RC , then start the app . Now I turn on the P3 Pro . turn on the RC and the dj go app opens automatically .......  I like it  .

You should always turn on the remote before powering up the P3

When you start:
1. Turn ON RC
2. TUrn ON P3

When you end
1. Turn OFF P3
2. Turn OFF RC

Have you even read what you just wrote in comparison what you quote? lol

This happened every now and then with the Pilot app as well for me with the new firmware before I updated to Go..

It came up with a message about making the app default for the USB accessory, or something like that?  

Nice feature, although I had the app suddenly open for no apparent reason the other day and say 'welcome to your aircraft' etc.. Which was funny and odd at the same time. :-)

it sucks if you are testing other 3rd party apps....

hmmm - I have always done it this way , with no issues at all ...

Effected the latest update. Saw that the GO app was available at the Google Play Store. Decided to wait and see how the firmware update *and* the new app worked out.

Connected my S5 to the RC. Turned on the RC, then turned on the Phantom. I heard a little "bonk" and my app did pretty much what you described. It even offered me the option of having that app come on automatically whenever "that device" was connected. For the time being, I opted out. I made a few flights with the old Pilot app - which crashed for one out of the three flights.

The firmware seems fine at the moment so I'll probably update the Pilot app to the GO app and cross my fingers!

Well, STOP doing that. You have been VERY LUCKY.

When you turn on virtually ANY RC aircraft, the receiver immediately seeks the strongest signal - even diversity receivers and "matched" receivers. If for any reason your P3 receiver detects an errant signal from elsewhere before you energize your controller, you may find yourself in deep trouble or even corrupt the processes on the aircraft.

Start your controller, THEN start the Phantom 3. Trust me.
