I am having issues with the mapping speed after updating the firmware. The M300+P1/35mm mapping speed has decreased from 15 m/s to 8.2 m/s, and we dont have an option to increase this? Any suggestions?

Custom Network RTK has not been working for me since the last two firmware updates. It was flawless a couple months ago. I need it to work for my Lidar flights. Using the DJI base is not an an option.

In the middle of a terrain following mission, the drone landed and it did not rise any more. I have the motor stalled message, I changed the motor for a new one and the problem continues.

The motor spins freely but stalls when I try to take off.

After the update, the drone does not continue the mission after a pause (battery change), and again starts from the first point. Has anyone encountered this? Are there solutions? Thank you!

Well hopefully they fix the issue with the P1, 22 Mph for that camera is severely underutilizing its capabilities.  Going out for a general test flight this afternoon, I am hoping there aren't any more of these issues that pop up.

Went out and flight was good, although the P1 was only able to top out at 22 MPH where I have been able to previously fly at 33 MPH.  Any reason we lost 11 MPH top speed on P1 flights?

It seems DJI mess with the minimum interval. Add custom camera and try this :

You could also try to downgrade via DJI Assistant 2

I stopped to use RTK for LiDAR data. No waiting time for RTK FIX in field, no problem of 4G... And point cloud are more accurate.

This worked perfect. Added the camera as described above and the flight worked at 33MPH again. Thanks for the post. All other aspects of my flights so far have been normal.

This is definitely a small mistake on DJI's update team.  The overlap suggests that the dimensions of the camera have not changed.  On the other hand, the minimum trigger interval of the sensor has increased to 2.5s.  I put 1s because in the custom settings you can't go below, but the P1 can theoretically trigger every 0.7s.  which will further increase the speed.  Should we ask DJI for financial compensation for the missing 0.3s?

Dear DJI. Is it possible that every single firmware update have tons of problems? This is a 20k$+ platform, we use for work. Because of faulty firmware updates we lose money.
Do you try the firmware before the release? For some errors looks like you've never tried the firmware in flight, during an operation.
Please take care of your pro customers.

Same issue here. New firmware limiting speed, typically I fly 25 - 27 mph it's limiting me to 15 at 328 feet.
Come on DJI fix you stuff and actually test it.

Thanks worked perfectly. Sad we have to do this manual entry for their camera to by pass their lack of testing. Getting pretty tired of this kinda crap from DJI might be time to look at a different drone....already bought the Autel EVO 2 RTK Series v3 as a backup. Works pretty well so far.

Do we know when the RC Plus controller will be updated to work with the M300?

With the last update I see this warning and the visible satellite is between 5 and 10. "Vehicle satellite dish signal error."

I've had issues with the last two updates.  Just like what's posted above, the speed has been greatly reduced when using the P1.  I can fly much faster with the L1.  I've had a multitude of "satellite" errors show up that have resulted in what appeared to be missing chunks of data in a L1 mission using a custom RTK network.  I was able to fix that by downloading data from the network, creating a virtual base station, and replacing the gps data.  I've not had that before.  I had a RTH speed set at 25mph and the drone kept hitting the brakes and slowing it down to crawl and then it'd try to get up to 25 again and then it hit the brakes.  That was scary to watch when it was automatically returning across a 40 acre site for a battery change.

Only 2/8 (1/4 with last firmware) last flights I had RTK fixed with custom network. The rest were float and I had to switch off the RTK option.

I can't see a progress fixing these sort of bugs etheir

Is there a way to force the M300 (with P1 non-RTK) to not capture images on transit lines? This behaviour is resulting in an over-capture of data and making the processing inefficient.
When mapping irregular shaped kmz areas, the M300 doesn't appear to map in a logical sequence i.e. I would expect it to map starting at the far east in a north/south orientation, making its way to the furthest most western flight line. Instead it flies a few lines, then transits to another section, flies a few lines, flies to another section over and over. It is a mess and inefficient, especially when it is also capturing on those transit lines.
I tried changing from timed shooting to distance shooting but the estimated number of images for distance shooting was blowing out in a massive way.
What also happened today during a multi-flight capture was Pilot 2 created new folders at random positions which then lead to 'flights' of less then 10mins which has impacted our PPK workflow. This behaviour is not expected and I have not had this issue before.

Are these issues fixed with the latest update? I have not yet updated it due to the issues mentioned above.

Are you sure the problem is not with your RTK provider?
The selection of course angle has been significantly improved.

I have the same problem. I avoid complex shapes, that solves partially. Otherwise with UGCS it is possible to optimize flight plans but it is not the ultimate solution. Worth a try.

Sometimes it is not possible to avoid complex shapes. This particular job we are completing fortnightly for a two year project so we want to be efficient. I might have to try generating smaller areas and see if that fixes the issue of the seemingly random flight path it calculates. Thanks for the feedback
