10Km signal range?  That could be more than many Mni3Pros if forum complaints are anything to go by

Lol yeah but that's on paper, so in complaints are out to go by then get ready for less than 500m beauties lol

And no surprise they have sold out.

Looks like they removed all the BS collision detection and saved themselves 20 grams, then put that into the battery,

Ps rumour has they have moved the antennal back into the landing legs to improve range.

I wonder what the rest of the specs are.

Could have just been the weather Bashy.   I fly in a totally open space and the signal strength is never the same and you would think as there's no immediate interference that it would be.

Either the weather or a ruined fw update.

If anything the weather should have been on my side, high pressure, little to no wind. There was a high humidity, but with little fog only seen at a distance. Plus, I did 5.5km in fairly decent fog.

Anyhoo, I will leave it a wee while got too much wind for any range tests, will give it another go when it drops back to nothing again.

Yeah, it's been pretty still down herel, Tis today too but I had to wait for my dogs prescription meds to arrive. It was foggy very early hours for me too each day this week, but by the time I got out around 7:30, it had all but lifted. We're you flying?

We had a fog alert this morning so I thought I'd head out around 6am for a flight in it,  got down to my preferred spot and there wasnt even a light mist.

Nice, sadly for me the coast is a bit too far out at present due to my eldest dog struggling a bit. Theres a few places I wouldn't mind going, heck, even the cliffs at Hunstanton would be better than my boring area lol

It's about 115 miles for me to get up to Horsey area,  the problem is the roads up there are just too slow.,     Norfolk needs a motorway or two.

Ya not wrong, theres the A47 and that's about it and that's not a great road at all.

Interesting how the front arms have been redesigned to include legs.  A spot for horizontally mounted antenna?

If this is the case then DJI acknowledge that there is a problem with the current design, does this mean they will correct it for the Mini 3 Pro?

Same. The OA was the main feature that made me upgrade. The range is a little disappointing but I can live with it.
I dont know if the price was leaked but my guess is it will be priced around $650

The range I've achieved with mine falls well short of the claimed figures, but is still adequate for my requirements.

sorry if this is confusing, i should have been more clear.  it happens every year, somebody (retailer or supplier) comes out the the launch details a day or two or a week(s) before they are supposed to.  you see it often at best buy, they put the product out on the shelf before it is actually "ready" to launch.

i said "if dji is going to have a december 1st launch date and they change their mind, they gotta tell everybody."

i should have said "if dji is going to have a december 1st launch date and then they change their mind and push the launch date until later (for whatever reason), to prevent any screw-ups they gotta notify everybody (supplier) that they originally notified that december 1st is no longer the current launch date and please hold off until.....[new date]."

that's how these things usually happen, bash.  somebody likely missed the notification.
