I enjoyed a lovely seafood (and chicken) lunch here today.
The Island Restaurant stands on a recently recreated artificial island at Elizabeth Quay. The building was originally constructed in 1928 on reclaimed land on The Esplanade as a tearoom and changing room for an adjoining sporting facilities, then relocated to the "island".
It was known as the Esplanade Tearooms for most of the 1940s and 1950s, Annabella's Nightclub (1977–1980), Florence Hummerston Day Care Centre (1985–1998), and now, of course, The Island Restaurant.

Obviously the last three photos weren't taken by an Airt 2S

Splendid shots RR.    Nice to know that the building was repurposed so many times.  

That does look like a savory seafood lunch.

Thank you. Yes, we have an entire town in Western Australia that was moved. It was in the Goldfields region, and when the gold ran out, the town became a ghost town, but eventually, someone realized it would be cheaper to move the buildings than build new ones.

You don't need to declare it at immigration. There are varying rules and regulations, however if you are careful not to attract attention you probably won't be bothered much. There are no-fly zones up to 5k from the controlled airports. These will show up on an air map, but of course the drone will refuse to take off within them anyway

Wow nice to know this, unlike when I was at Hong Kong it was very hard to flew it in the city area. Can't wait to fly at WA. Thanks for ur info mate...
