I sold my Mini 2 in January, and bought one a few days ago, its sad to see that the DJI FLY app still doesnt do facebook streaming

Thank god for Litchi app, it does livestream to facebook with no issues.

It uses the same SDK so why are DJI so hung up on not having it in their app?

So, actually, this could be turned around to say that FaveBook doesn't support the RTMP streaming standard....

No it was considered outdated and a security risk hence the change to RTMPS (S is for secure) so well done facebook for making our experience more secure

Yes I did a video on it a long time ago, but in the end its Litchi that wins as its a lot easier than messing about with restream io

Because there are people in the world who want to use the fly app and DJI should fix gthe issue, im not crying im complaining, and your tone tells me exactly what sort of person you are

Hi, No Original Thought. Thank you for reaching out. We cannot guarantee about that but for the live streaming function, currently, Facebook Livestream uses RTMPS protocols. Yet DJI Fly currently only supports RTMP protocols. Thank you for your kind understanding and support.

Actually, both RTMP and RTMPS are considered legacy protocols - just adding TLS doesn't make the underlying protocol any better.

And why would you be concerned about securing the stream? Your putting it on Facebook so surely you want as many people to see it as possible.

Adding a security layer to the streaming data only makes sense where you want to restrict access, and as it's unicast - ie point to point - the effort to intercept the data to view it is not worth it when it's viewable via Facebook.
