The Mini 3 leaks we saw around this time last year were pretty spot on and this leak has come from the same guy I believe.

Looks a bit ungainly to me.  But first impression of the Mini3Pro were lukewarm to as I recall
That changed.

Yes I seem to recall you were on the fence with the Mini3P.   But this one has the 1" sensor if the leak is right.

Very interesting design. Will have to see how it flys and handles wind!

Did anyone else notice that the propeller arms appear to point to the right of shot in both the front facing and rear facing views?

Do you mean in this shot?

I recall a study that was done with underslung props and they were 15% more efficient,  so that could be longer flight time or more power to handle better wind speeds.

Partially, if you look at the rear view in your post  #2 the arms are also 'pointing to the right.
Admittedly some down tilt of the arms could possibly cause a slimilar illusion but .......

Also, there is a link in the thread

It may be true in theory the underslung props would be more efficient but until we see actual product tests we can only hope.

Honestly the current M3P and extended battery is sufficient for me in terms of flight time and how it handles the wind.

The downside is they are closer to the ground for clearance.

Agree, also not sure if I see OA sensors on the rear. Obviously none on the sides. It would've been nice to see improvements in this area!

A sensor that produces less noise in low light would be good for me.

Yes they are visible,  same style as the mini 3 ones where they are directly behind the forward facing one.

Yes I agree the props may have clearance issues with take offs, landings, hand catching and hand launch.  OUCH !.......

If Osita was one of the leakers then i reckon this is what we will see for the Mini 4, I've not know him to be wrong except for the P5, that turned out to be a special custom order. Having said that, I'm not 100% it was Osita.

Im not overly sure that the prop orientation will make them much closer if any to the ground, they have the upward angle of the arms to raise them higher, much more than the angles on the Mini 3(P)

I also noticed that they have saved a fair bit of weight using this arm method and certainly from the body, this would help with the added weight for the 1" sensor.

Like i and DAFlys have said, those leakers are usually spot on so take this rendering as you see fit, for me, i would put money on it, but then I've never been a great gambler lol

loosing hand catching is going to be a pain.   Looking at the design even grading it from above looks risky.

Mainly interested in sphere pano shooting, it seems to me that DJI has for the first time taken into account the possibility of a truly complete sphere shot design-wise. I am curious if there will be an adapted software for this drone with a hundred percent zenith shot?! Not to mention the larger sensor with an adapted photo quality. If so, I might be tempted to quickly part with the Mini 3 Pro again in favor of the Mini 4.

That would be a downer losing hand catch/launch, was bad enough losing the little bit we did with the Mini 3 pro hand launch lol

Another thought, I think with the 1" sensor, variable aperture wouldn't be out of the question, something to look forward to, I miss that on these Mini's

As long as Argos sells it with no controller or the cheaper controller Im having a free one like the Mini 3P was.

I just shop in Sainsbury, buy petrol there, exploit their deals and then use a nectar credit card for everything and pay it off each month.

The hand-catching will NOT be a problem.  The DJI store will include these accessories to help catch the M4-Z safely without any risk of injury to operator or the drone.

"Leaks" like this are always around and just show how gullible people can be.
Particularly when they fool the same people again and again.
You are being fooled if you imagine this junk is real.

Real or not, but something to take into consideration and that is Osvita and DealsDrone, the main leakers have been onto something in the past and most certainly Osvita was 100% spot on for the Mini 3 Pro, Avata, Mavic 3 Classic, M30, to name a few although i do not think any of those were fan renders, although Osvita did do his own drawings, only time will tell this time round. One thing i will say though is that it's very early, most leaks come out a few months before launch and i can't see anything launching before May what with this war going on so.

I don't think any of us are saying that this one is 100% legit either, we all know (or we should) that its a fan rendering by none other than, Chen Ji Gazer.

Now back to the design, there is one major downside to this style, there would be a lot more broken arms!
Personally, I'm not overly keen on the taller collapsed design, whilst i do have room in my bag, it would mean less space for sure.
