My dji mini 2 controller shut down in mid flight and won't power on while batteries are fully charged . Only one month old. Any suggestions?

Just had my controller shut down whilst my drone was 196m in the air, lost RC signal and wouldn't return home, it dropped out of sky when the battery ran out into a tree, luckily the drone is OK but the battery is now damaged. Lost confidence in my drone now.
