I will be staying at Luxor hotel for a week.

I will be bringing my P3P for some photo.   Anyone knows where I can shoot good view away from NFZ ?  

Referabbly, 10-30 min drive would be good, just need to fly and shot some sourvenir shots...

Any recomendation ?

You're not going to see "nice large green lands" in Vegas. You will see nice large brown lands. It's a desert.

LOL yeah that's what i was thinking

Be aware of the heat.  I came for some work and it was 111° outside.  My drone and iPhone 6+ overheated and lost the
video.  I still had control so I brought it down.  We flew later once the sun ( 106°) was going down (golden hour) and although the
phone was heating up we still got some images..  Keep your phone cool.

How about the Hoover Dam area?

Anyone know the difference between a National Conservation Area and a National Park with respect to NFZ's?  Red Rock Canyon is a National Conservation Area.

But should be plenty of cool places to fly outside the orange-stripped areas below ...

Probably have to check with the BLM.  Call the BLM Southern District office at 702-515-5000 and they should be able to tell you if you can fly.
BTW, I would also be very careful ANYWHERE around Vegas.  There is a $%&! ton of sightseeing helicopters flying on any given day.  I've seen them flying at less than 200 ft over the desert floor south of Lake Meade.  Some of those rotary wing pilots are hotdogs looking for a good tip from the passengers.  I've even seem them land and unload passengers near Elephant Wash to eat lunch.  Nellis is close by too, black choppers flying nap of the earth at night.
