This house was featured on TV,  an when I passed recently I had to grab a shot of it.

Your shot peeked my interest so I had to check the house out a bit more.  Interesting what it started out as and what it has turned into.

Great shot. Nice house but did you notice the windmill too?  Is it also strange or my mistake?
Interesting place.

What a fun place. Doesn't look very spacious, though.

It was originally a water tower and the windmill there pumped water into it.   But the house part was finished in 1987.  You can rent it for £700 a night.

The history is the house used to be a water tower,  and the windmill pumped water into the water tower.

It's not cheap thats for sure,  but that area is really popular with tourists in season.

Happens a lot here with water towers,  there's a real desire to convert them,  and in the part of the country there are some great examples.
