DJI Mic receiver not working

My DJI mic receiver seems to have developed a fault. THis seems ot have happened spontaneously, no falls, drop, or other event has caused this.

Basically it turns on and off OK, but the screen is frozen on a battery icon (full) with 'RX' underneath.
Update: I have downlaoded and installed the latest firmware to the receiever, and transmitters since writing the original post. This has made no difference.

It simply won't do anything else.

Please help!

Hello, there. You may use alcohol pads to wipe the contact pins on the RX and charger box.
Then try pairing again. Please follow the two methods below:
Method 1: Put the receiver and transmitter into the charging case to complete pairing.
Method 2: Power on the receiver and transmitter, swipe down on the touchscreen of the receiver to enter the control center. Swipe left and tap the pairing button to enter the pairing interface. Tap “Link Device”, press and hold the pairing button on the side of the transmitter. When the indicator on the transmitter is solid green, pairing is successful.
Note: You can stop pairing by pressing the button (stopping pairing) on the touchscreen.
If the issue still persists, please send it back for further diagnosis.

I will have to send it for repair. I notice I have to send it overseas for a repair. Do you pay for my postage, or reimburse  my costs? I presume being less than 4 months old, this product/repair is covered under warranty? Do you not have a repair centre in the UK?

Since this seems to be a common problem I think DJI needs to ship the unit with an extra receiver.  I'm pretty much without sound whenever this happens.  It will be difficult to use these without a backup receiver.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. If the eceiver cannot be powered on automatically, please follow the instructions below and confirm.

Please check whether the DJI Mic receiver, and charging pads/pins on the charging case are dirty.
If there is any dirt, please remove it with rubbing alcohol, and let it dry before testing again.
If there is a hardware damage, please send back the corresponding parts for further checking, thanks.

Hi there, may I know which mobile device you used? At the same time, you could try to double check by the following method.

1. Launch the mobile phone’s [Recording Software] (Android)/ [Voice Memo} (iOS) and enable the software’s recording function.
2. Click the transmitter’s microphone to check whether the audio waveform is changed synchronously.

If the audio waveform changes, it means the DJI Mic has transmitted an audio signal.
If not, there may be a compatibility issue. Please try and keep us update.

I'm having the same issue so I'm hoping someone here can help. I've been using it for a couple of weeks (just bought it in Dec!) and its been fine. Then I actually left my home for a job and this screen was on and Its been on and off doing this. It's unreliable, so now I'm scared to take it to a job as I need a working audio recorder. Its been charging for days so now its just doing these random screens.



This is the main screen it's been displaying. I've cleaned all the contact points with a Q-tip and alcohol, so I'm not sure why it's not reading the other microphone now.



Please help i need to use this this week frequently and I cant rely on a product like this.

Hi there, I am sorry for the issue you encountered. Just to double confirm, the issue is that one of the RXs will not get charged or connected when it is in the charging case, right? Is the other RX and the TX working well?
If it is the dedicated RX's issue, please try to charge it directly via the USB-C cable and see if it can be charged and work again. If not, please send it back to DJI for further service.
If it gets charged, please try to put the working RX in the other slot on the charging cable and see if it can be charged, if not, kindly send the charging case back for further diagnosis.

hi.

I am having the same issue I believe.

The receiver has been having a glitch for a while, I am unable to see the menu because of it. last shoot in the middle of an interview the receiver battery went to empty and turned off. maybe the glitch is draining the battery because it was full before and interview was short.

please help. $350 wasted?

It happened to exactly the same issue showing the line through the speaker, and it won't play nor conect with mics at all.   Had it since Feb 2024 and barely used it.  Have to send it for repair.  I am in Ontario Canada.  Receiver issue.

Thank you for reaching out, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To troubleshoot the issue, please first check if your DJI Mimo App is disconnected. During parameter adjustment, it can't record audio, so you need to click "Disconnect" in the upper right corner to record normally. Note that if the app was closed in the background, you can't reopen the Mimo App. Reopening DJI Mimo will automatically connect to the last device, so you need to click "Disconnect."

If the problem persists, could you also let us know the model of the phone you are trying to connect? You may refer to this article for more connecting via Bluetooth information: https://support.dji.com/help/con ... ;paperDocType=paper

Hi, there
Due to data transmission protocol limitations, iOS cannot upgrade through an adapter connection. The RX and TX need to be upgraded separately via Bluetooth.

RX: First, turn it off. After it's off, long press the power button for 6-8 seconds until the indicator light turns blue, then release it. Open the Mimo app to search and connect.

TX: After turning it on, long press the frequency pairing button to enter pairing mode. Once the phone successfully connects to the TX via Bluetooth, open the app to upgrade the single TX firmware.

During the upgrade process, the indicator light will stay yellow. After the upgrade is complete, the LED will turn off and restart, so just wait for it to light up again.
