I recently bought a new mini SE on 1/28/2023 and your issue is still present with switching to manual mode. Being sent back to Amazon today. Please get this corrected asap or remove this option from your device. Tried updating via suggestions on other threads, no luck. Word spreads fast on the internet, may want to finally own up to thisissue and get it resolved.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we totally understand your frustration on this one. We sincerely apologize that you had come up with a decision to return your product back to Amazon. Below are the troubleshooting steps that could possibly rectify this kind of issue.

1. Please take the aircraft, remote controller, and mobile device (with app installed) to an open outdoor area. Power on the aircraft and remote controller and connect them to the mobile device’s app.

2. After powering on, the aircraft will automatically search for satellite signal. When the app shows that the number of satellite signals reaches 10, continue to wait for about one minute.

3. Power off the remote controller and aircraft and then restart them. Check whether the image transmission signal can switch between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.

4. If switching fails, please refresh the aircraft firmware and follow steps 1, 2, and 3 once again. To see if the issue persists.

That did not resolve the issue. Why not address the firmware issue with manual/auto frequency mode as that is obviously the issue now for a long time. Feels like we are getting bot responses on this forum from the moderators....

how is the aircraft going to update the app with satellites when they are not binded to each other...

OUR issues are binding between the drone and RC are not working

i ended up sending it back...it had a core board failure....cost 109 bucks to repair out of warranty and its now back here and flies great....thank you for the quick help and service
