I Share my last Brescia' Castle photogrammetry test.
I'm very happy with the results.
If used well, Mini 3 Pro kills on this purpose!

500+ aerial shots. The area captured was way wider. I decluttered the project for Better quality on the central part. Still more than 8 Hours of elaboration needed

/wow thats a lot.   Do you set the interval shot mode and then fly a grid

I used two different approaches:
1st flight: Orbit Hyperlapse centered on the target.
2nd flight: Manual flight, to shot some closeups and 90° degrees shots from above.
I wan't to try to use the hyperlapse waypoint to simulate a grid flight of some kind. But without real waypoint flight the manual grid flight is very difficult and inaccurate.

It will do in April all being well, although it will take longer for Apps to be updated and more than likely not for the DJI RC but for the N1 and phone/tablet. Its very good news considering DJI had no plans for releasing the SDK

For sole purpose to create a fun amateur 3D model is perfect.

For real mapping is not good. The errors in measurements will be too big to be monetized.
So Mini 3 Pro, Mavic 3, Air2S and even Mini 2 can be used for generating 3D models for fun, but will never make real work in mapping.

I take this opportunity to have confirmation that in "point of interest" mode on cannot take 48MP photos, but therefore remain in normal quality photos ?

Yes, that's correct. You can only shot in 48Mpx in manual mode.

I am very interested in your flights to get such great detail over each level of the area.  I need to do the same in an area that is on the side of a mountain.  Did you fly several paths over different altitudes or did the software do a great job figuring it all out?  Also, what was your camera angle?  Thank you!  Appreciate any advice.
