Hi DJI,

Would you consider adding spotlight mode to the DJI Mini 2?
I see there have been a lot of requests for this feature to be added.

So having just watched a Mavic 3 you tube vids on spotlight... the question is.. why don't we have it with a mini 2??

Anche a me servirebbe la funzione spotlight sul Mini 2.
Oltretutto, questa operatività non ha bisogno di sensori ostacoli (in mancanza dei quali non è stato mai aggiunto Active track di terze persone in movimento, per quanto dichiarato da dji).
Anche se poi dji dovrebbe spiegarmi come mai Active track o spotlight no, mentre Orbit si.
Spero arrivi quanto prima lo spotlight mode.

DJI, yes, please add spotlight mode to the mini 2.
Certainly, we will all understand that you'll add the caveats that because it does not have optic avoidance. It must be used with a different level of caution than the models that have object avoidance.

Simple enough yes... But I hate to break it to everyone, DJI don't care about your request. Should DJI have had intensions of adding this feature to the mini 2 it would have been added a while ago!

Yes please!!! That would be a really good option on the mini 2

I think, it is simply not intended to repurpose a technical function that is already used within the quickshots.
The drone should not change its position, but only keep the selected object in focus.
I can still purchase DJI Care Refresh, but using an existing function for a spotlight focus and thus significantly upgrading the drone has been ignored for years.
I now regard all statements from DJI regarding technical inspection as empty talk.

it really is a weak performance.
You can either drive your customers to a new product or to another manufacturer.

But the hope dies last.
Maybe it will happen after all, if enough customers want it.

Hi Dji,
Spotlight would really be great addition to current functionalities of mini 2.
Not to mention that mini 2 already has api created for this, we know that from dji's api for mini 2 dev pack released by your company.
So this would not be a great effort from development side as code logic is already there for the most part but it would add to the capabilities of the mini 2 tremendously.

Please raise the priority of this minor improvement even though mini 2 is no close to the main focus right now
