Hello !

In M3E we have option - dewarping.
Do I need to use it in my survey work ?
Later on  all photos will be processed by PIX4D or Meteshape .

Depends on client requirements.  For mapping, my experience is that PIX4D and others are fine with it turned off.  I have had numerous realtors though that always mention - turn on dewarping for pictures....  : )  I suspect a lot of drone pilots give realtors the vignetted photos.  : (

Thank you ! Yes, the dewarping should be on in case of usual photos. But looks like it sholde be off for mapping mission. It is a pity that no clear recommendation from the DJI.

There is a really good reason for the dewarping function apart from taking visually pleasing shots, i'm using it in a research project so i cant go into details but you should be able to figure it out. As far as mapping goes, test, test ,test.

If you can't go into detail the best thing to do is to shut up. This is a support forum here, not a place to shine in society.

After numerous attempts in DJI Terra Pro i had no success making an orthomosaic using the dewarped image set. Has anyone tried in Agisoft?

Metashape is so much better than Terra. Running a dewaraped photoset through it will give bad results though. I'm not sure who told you to use this while mapping but their wrong. Sounds like something DJI Wanda would suggest. I'll have to leave it at that until you provide more details on this secret project of yours.
