Moonrise over The Castle of the Masovian Dukes - Płock

This structure in Płock is a Gothic castle built under the reign of Casimir III the Great, becoming a stronghold of the Dukes of Masovia until the fifteenth century. The castle is located in the Princely Capital City of Płock, Masovian Voivodeship; in Poland.

In the centre, just over the castle you can see Church of St.Dominic and further old water tower with light up spire of Roman Catholic Church of St. Joseph which is 2 km ( 1.3mi ) from the castle.

I was happy to see the moonrise that night. Always nice to see with the beautiful foreground like this.
