So we tipped over a water tower at work, and i was able to catch it on our Phantom 3 Pro.  This is pretty much my first official video with the Phantom, so forgive me for the couple of spots where my panning is a little jumpy. Also, I only have gopro studio for editing, and it was a really hazy day due to a bunch of wild fires, so I struggled with the color correcting. But all in all, I think it turned out pretty well. Let me know your thoughts.

That is REALLY neat! Great job! Bet the sound was heard for miles, yes?
Also, bet it was a somber moment for some of the old timers.

It would have been even more fun to see it crash to terra firma,
If the water tower had been full of H2o, and a big wave rolled out as it struck.

They took one down just like that in the community that I am from. It's a small town in Central Illinois, and was an icon in the community for many years - kind of sad to see it go. Ours was in the middle of our park, so they had to torch it from the top down, piece by piece.

The water tower was 100 years old, and they were building veterans housing at the site and so they are going to replace it with a new tower. If anyone is good at CGI, that would be sweet to add in a rushing water affect when the tower falls.

Dang, I wanted to hear the sound it made when it landed.  To bad you didn't have another video camera on the ground.  Would have been nice to have the music pause just as it's starting to go and dub in the creaking metal groaning and then BOOM!  Crank up the music!

And yeah, I agree with the other comments it would have also been spectacular to see it filled with water and make a big splash.

I did have a camera on a tripod on the ground filming, with the intention of using part of the stationary video in this video. But after realizing that the drone was constantly moving throughout the whole video, it felt weird to then cut to a stationary video. But I guess I could have stolen the sound clip from my stationary video and dubbed it on my p3 video.

I think your panning was very good and you had some really creative angles.    Great job!

Self deprication, I like it... adds to the contrast ratio of smugness in that it adds to the degree of suggested humility.
