That does not solve the issues.

You are so correct. Sad thing is the lack of education.....

The only real hater is that one guy Dave Bier, and he's probably a troll.  You can tell by his short replies that are intended to cause a reaction and conflict.  Ignore him, and he should go away over time.

And if he's not just trolling, then you are never gonna change him anyway.  He's not engaging in the conversation.  He's just dumping and running, and pulling you in.  

The only way to combat this hysteria is for the larger manufacturers to pool together some money and hire a famous, well-liked spokesperson to do some PR work; highlight the good deeds quads have done, especially around saving lives.  If it's a big enough name, people will stop and actually listen to the message.  Facebook is not the venue for that type of activity - it's too anonymous, and has become the voice of the "angry righteous mob".

Yep. Just by posting a few pics and discussion made a difference in several opinions. That is a good idea for a spokesperson and maybe some positive spin on usage like "search and rescue".
