Not the best location to build.  One is to closes to the water and the other is right next to the road.  I'm guessing they were in place long before the road was built.

Hmmm, guess that is feasible.  

Here if something becomes abandoned it is soon bulldozed to the ground and something new put right back in it's place.  Could be the greedy developers can't stand to see anything sitting in ruin.

Doesn't it seem to be very quite on the forum today or is that just me thinking not much is going on.

Guess things will pick up when the Inspire 3, Pocket 3 and Air 3 get released over the next 2-4 months.

I seem to remember that, around this time last year, there was a paucity of material being posted.  Maybe it's a seasonal issue.

I have noticed that between new product releases the forum seems to be less active.  Even in the Works section it has been a bit slow lately.

Just took on another one.
Making a website for a relative.
It is a paid thing, but also a nice learning experience for me.

My son-in-law used to be heavy into web development but he said people would contract for certain design styles and items and then would want more bells and whistles, etc. all added for the original development price.  Finally, he had enough and an opportunity came along and he jumped into cybersecurity a few years back.  He says it's the best thing he ever did.

Sounds like you may have some wood projects in mind.  Table saws are super handy to have if you do a lot of wood work.  About 3 months back I went to an estate sale and this guy's shop was loaded with woodworking equipment (lathes, drill presses, bandsaws, etc.)  They wanted to sell it as a lot.  I wasn't interested in it so I have no idea what they were asking.  I went there to look at a Mavic 2 Pro they listed.

So many projects you can do with one.  My son bought a used Bosch tablesaw and replaced the blade on it.  He says it cuts like brand new and got it at a third of the cost of a new one.

I've been working with my grandson on learning finances.  He asked me why I didn't just pay cash for everything instead of putting it on my credit card.  I had to explain to him that I charge on the card to earn reward points but I pay off the balance at the end of each month thereby not incurring any finance charges.  He was interested enough so I took him to the local bank and got him a student credit card that has a $500 limit.  He has to pay it off at the end of each month or the card gets shredded.  He says he is up for the challenge.  I think he'll do good as he is very frugal with his money and this will help build his credit.

I always found the credit cards a bit of a dodgy thing.
Since you (can) pay something that you don't have the money for.
I do have one, but always pay off immediately and only use it for when I'm ordering somewhere that only accepts credit cards.

I hear you.  The only reason I use mine is for the reward points.  they add up very quickly.  But I always pay off the balance at the end of the month because I don't want to pay finance charges.  So basically I'm using their money, earning reward points and not paying any interest.

That's a shame.  I had built up so many reward points that I was able to pay for my daughter, her husband and son to take a week cruise three years ago.  My point total is back up there fairly high again.

Credit Card Rewards System.  Might just be an "American" financial thing.  Not all credit cards off the rewards program but most do.
