Until yesterday (10th March) I hadn't flown my Mini3Pro since the middle of February, mainly due to adverse weather.
On returning from a successful flight, on downloading the footage I noticed that the files were showing the wrong date - 9th March rather than 10th.
Curious - then I noticed a prompt for updates from DJI on the RC screen.  I duly performed the updates (something about propguards and 'Minor bug fixes'.
Now, the controller is showing the correct date. I'll see what transpires when I next fly the machine.
Maybe one of the 'Minor Bugs' was an oversight that was no Leap Day in 2023.

I just got the prop guard and I have to say Im quite liking them.    Should have come with it like the Mini2

I never figured you for a Prop Guard type of guy
I had a set with the Mini One, but only used them a couple of times (once when Mrs.B had a trial flight)
I don't have any for the Mini3Pro.

They only just launched it for the Mini3. Only £12.  Stops the props snagging on my bag

That's not a prop guard for flying the drone though.

Sounds plausible.  I've seen several posts on this and two other forums about the date being off by one day.

I only noticed it last night. When I checked the previous flight, back in February, that had the correct date on it.  The Leap Day error seemed the most logical explanation, as the time was still correct.

Nobody else theorized that as they don't have your astute thinking ability.  Probably  the DJI development team is aware of it now based on the amount of minor complaints.  There was a gent quite upset on a reddit thread because the company refused to pay him because the shots were dated wrong and appeared to be shot one day prior to the date it was contracted for.  Kind of harsh on that company's part if you ask me.

Exactly what I was thinking.  For sure would be the last time I did any contract work for that company.  He did say that they had previously paid him well for jobs so he may not have kicked them to the curb for future jobs.

These updates are often vague  "Minor bug fixes" which doesn't tell you much.
The only glitch I have is a slight slow rotational drift to the left when coming to a halt.
That's been discussed in an earlier thread.

Never had that problem. Mostly what I have is missing the zoom icon and an actual zoom problem when toting my gimbal upwards.

I've not explored that function with the gimbal tilted up. So I can't say if I have the problem or not.
Perhaps I should check it out.

While the holder might be handy for keeping the props in check in the bag, it's just another item to fiddle with when deploying the drone.

It comes off fast enough,   it is however fiddly to put back on.

You're not alone with that,   Im curious to see if the replacement Mini 3 has the new design gimbal cover on it and whether its any better or not.

Thanks for the clarification DA.  I just got an email notifying me yesterday that they are back in stock in the DJI store.  Ordered one and per email should arrive this Wednesday as it is coming from California warehouse vice China.

My only complaint with it really was the price,    I think its a wee bit over priced,  although it was nicely made and packaged.

It was a tad high on the price but then postage was 3/4 the cost of the product so that made it even higher.  At least the props will be better protected when I get to use it.

Its a nice little addition,  when Im walking and want to be light I use the Mavic 2 slip case for the mini3 but the props tend to catch,  and it doesn't take much to deform one.

I lucked out and picked up some spare props from DroneNerds just before I took my ATV tumble so I have plenty on had.

Noting really about drones is cheap,    if you work out the per flight cost the guard is the least of the worries.
