It arrived today along with the two extra batteries I ordered so I tried it out.
The unit is quite compact and light which surprised me.
I love the fact that you can just attach the four batteries and no longer have to worry about swapping them over after each has charged.
It doesn't charge them all at the same time (which I knew before purchasing) but it just makes life that little bit easier.
Now all I have to do is explain to the wife why I spent all that money

dmwierz, Try going the dji.com store or my affiliate link www.buydji.ca. Both links go to the same spot. I got one from there as well.

colin.buckle, Did you use yet? Any tips? ... or it is really just plus and wait?

Thanks.

Cool. Thanks. Didn't know about that. Does it charge at the same rate as the P3 Pro charger?

yes, one battery at a time. the one with the most charge is charged first then once fully charged it moves on to the next. so 4 batteries discharged at lets say around %10, would take roughly around 4 hours to get fully charged using the hub. it uses sthe charger that you already have for your P3P 100w. if you have the one for P3A then it would take longer

It uses your current charger. It is a hub only. i ordered mine from Advexia. Shipped in a couple days even though they said 10-15 days BO

Colin - you did this for HER. Her safety and the safety of the house comes first - we'd never want to see an overheated charger catch fire! You're so thoughtful.

I tried the inspire hub before the P3 hub was announced and it didn't work with P3 batteries, the contacts are slightly wider. Its for sale if you are interested (Good Deal Shipped) PM me.

Got mine Monday and charging my 3 batteries now...   As someone else mentioned, you can see it initially cycle through all the batteries plugged in to determine current charge.  It then starts with the battery that has the MOST charge and charges it first..

Nice, now the night before I am going to fly, I can just simply drop all three of my batteries on the hub and they will be charged in the morning...

This should have been a little bigger and came with a 100+ watt charger with it.   The price they want just for a power splitter is way too much.

There is a warning . . . "When charging more than one battery, distribute them as evenly as possible."

With four batteries, there is only one way to do it.  But when charging 2 or 3 batteries, I'm not sure what they mean by as evenly as possible . . . Same side, opposite side etc.

Would be helpful if DJI could define this by port numbers, eg, when charging two batteries, use ports 1 and 2, 1 and 4, or?
