Most of the time when flying, you should keep your drones and batteries in carry on and not in checked luggage. Batteries must not be fully charged and its safe to have them placed into a lipo bag.

Hi, Sean-bumble-bee. Thank you for posting this.

Hi, djiuser_ZWyfgOFknJzK. Thank you for reaching out. Regretfully, we won't be answer this directly as this depends on the airline's policy, please contact them and if they ask for the drone or battery's information, you may check the specs of your drone on our website, like this one: (https://www.dji.com/mini-3/specs).

According to current TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulations in the United States, drones are allowed to be carried in both checked and carry-on luggage. However, there are some restrictions that you should be aware of:

Drone batteries must be carried in your carry-on luggage, not in your checked luggage. This is because lithium batteries have a risk of catching fire, and it's easier to respond to a battery fire in the cabin than in the cargo hold.

You should check with your airline for any additional restrictions or requirements for carrying drones. Some airlines may have specific rules or limitations on the size or weight of drones, or may require them to be packed in a certain way.

You should also check with the customs and aviation authorities in the countries you will be visiting, as they may have additional regulations on bringing drones into the country.
