Did they fix the nose-bridge issue with the new Integra goggles? Guessing not.
Not upgrading mines unless they offer a swap-out discount. pffft

There are a few nice improvements compared to goggles 2, but not enough to consider replacing them with the integra.  I'd rather use the coupon for batteries.

I understand they did away with the diopter adjustment. If you wear glasses you kinda need that. Just sayin...

Oops! Should have read the manual. They come with ten sets of corrective lenses!

So, the new Goggles Integra is cheaper than the old Goggles 2 by $150! Anybody knows why?

what I'm curious and wondering is if it has a built-in GNSS for the remote id to avoid plugging in your phone.  I'm thinkng it doesnt.

I'm seeing GPS and battery both integrated on the new googles. No more wires

It does have gps.  See the 3rd entry in this post with the embedded B&H video.  Still not enough to shell out $400.

It would have been nice if they developed a better foam replacement that is more comfortable so we could replace the horrible one that both come with.

It’s weird cause it doesn’t mention it has built in GNSS anywhere on the specs.

This exactly. No where is it listed under any of the official specs. I still  feel a firmware update is all thats needed to get it working on the googles 2. Remote ID should be provided through the included bluetooth 5.2 with no need  for a cable to  your phone.

I don't need the diopter adjustment, nor the bluetooth nor the wifi, so i would love to trade in my goggles 2 for this.
but no.... DJI has cancelled all trade in possibilities eind of 2021 and have no idea if this would EVER be back.

i contacted them about this due to the discount code i got for the MC2.

I am not going to give them more money and be stuck with the MC1 that nobody wants.

i COULD sell the goggles for the price of the intergra goggles.... but don't know if i should.

Maybe i should sell my complete avata with the goggles and MC1, and buy the explorer package?!

So its a small footprint in the announcement but take a look at  the product specs, its not mentioned anywhere. The remote id is  the only thing intriguing  to me as I much prefer the external battery that can be easily swapped in the field and I much prefer the diopter adjustments as it works perfectly for me. No where was it listed that my phone had to be connected to the goggles via a wire prior to purchase and since I don't visit the forums very often I had no idea about the RID issue in the first place. Had I known at the time of purchase it would not have been made. For DJI to not issue a fix for those that use the Goggles 2 is a slap in the face as it should be easily implemented but of course as it would hurt "new" sales I highly doubt it will be done.

This is what frustrates me the  most about DJI especially since the drone was only recently purchased within the past 3 weeks and now they drop a new version with "fixes" implemented. If I had not already made several add-on purchases (4 extra flight batteries, 1 extra goggle battery, pelican style carrying case, fly more kit, etc) I would just return the purchase. Not offering a trade-in is a slap in the face to loyal customers.

But looking at the spec the goggles 2 have the better FOV which is worth sticking with if you fly in small spaces.

I honestly do not want the new version (integra) I just want RID to work on my  googles 2 without my phone attached via cord.

Yes,  it's a shame they didnt build those with a gps inside.

Did anybody have problem with the Goggles Integra?  I got the drone yesterday. Took it out of the box, connected goggles to the phone and activated the product.  Then the goggles turn of itself  and I'm unable to turn it back on. Nothing happens when connected to the charger. I contacted DJI support but got no response since yesterday.
