Hi hope someone can help. I have watched many you-tube videos and read many comments on how to use quick transfer but I can not get it to work.
I have a Mini 3 with RC controller (controller with screen). Both controller and drone firmware has been updated. So my understanding is that you turn RC controller off, Open DJI fly app on mobile phone, and turn on aircraft. At this point you should get a notification on the fly go app to switch to quick transfer mode but this never appears ? I do not see an option to connect to the DJI mini 3 wifi - (the drones own network) ? If i search in my phone settings for drone wifi I only see my home network and no option to switch to drone wifi?

Ok I final found out how to use quick transfer mode which is not very well documented. For thoses of you that run into this problem, here is what I did to resolve. When you power on your drone and it the lights are flashing press the power on bottom 3 times and you will see the flashing lights turn blue. Start you dji fly app on your phone and the quick transfer message will appear on the screen. Follow the instrution to connect phone to drone wifi and it should work.

THANK YOU!!! I was looking at videos and articles and nowhere did it mention the blue lights thing. This worked the first time and I'm finally connecting and waiting for the downloads.. hoping that goes through.. I've seen issues with that while researching on this.

DJI Mini 3 Pro. I have updated firmware, updated to latest iOS operating system, deleted and reinstalled DJI app multiple times. I have no troubles establishing a connection with my drone, but when I enter Quicktransfer I consistently see the following:

“Loading failed. tap to try again.”


All content is present when I connect to camera. I have tried with and without cellular data on, and I have tried much more troubleshooting over numerous frustrating hours. Any help appreciated.

Please follow the steps below and see if it can isolate the issue.

1. Make sure the DJI Fly is the latest version and reinstall the App.

2. Tap “Loading failed. Tap to try again” on the interface to see if it can be worked.

3. Please restart the drone and reconnect to have a try.

4. Please disconnect the network to see if it is loading.

5. Please replace the mobile device if possible.

Sorry, my previous post was from a DJI account and my second post I signed in with Google. Attached is the thread so far. I have since had access to my laptop to download the contents of my drone to, but would obviously still like to resolve the issue of QuikTransfer not working.

1)Connect the phone to the remote controller, then pair the remote controller with the aircraft.
2)Go to the DJI Fly App on the phone > Album > lightning icon in the upper right corner > enter Quick Transfer mode.

Hello. I have the same problem with my DJi Mini 3 Pro + DJi RC231 controller + iphone 12PRO.

I'm not able to connect my drone with quick transfer. The only way how I can download photos (wirelles) = I have to connect my phone to controller with lightning cable, then I can connect to my drone (the same way like to fly a drone) then I can access to gallery and download photos/videos without quicktransfer. Without controller I'm not actually able to connect to my drone.
When I start app without connection of controller, I have a notification to connect drone with quick transfer. After comfirming of the connection =  it write to me, that I'm succesfully connected, but I'm not able to access my photos/videos inside the dron SD because it every time write to me "Loading failed, thy to tap again"..
- drone updated to the newest firmware
- iphone updated to iOS 18 (but I have the same issue with the older one iOS @3weeks ago)

We apologize for the inconvenience. To perform QuickTransfer for the DJI Mini 3, you may follow the instructions below:

1. Power on the aircraft and wait until the self-diagnostic tests of the aircraft are complete. Quickly press the power button three times to switch to QuickTransfer mode. The aircraft status LEDs will blink blue once switching is successful.

2. Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on the mobile device. Disable your cellular/mobile data and launch DJI Fly and a prompt will automatically appear to connect to the aircraft.

3. Tap Connect. Once successfully connected, the files on the aircraft can be accessed and downloaded at a high speed. Note that when connecting the mobile device to the aircraft for the first time, you need to press and hold the power button for two seconds to confirm.

Please update us on the progress, and should any issues arise, kindly send us a screenshot or a video of the operation.

THANKYOU! There are so many things on the DJI drone that are impossible to figure out and I dont have time to trawl through 200 youtube videos. Perfect! thanks for sharing

DJI Mini 4 Pro RC, iOS 18. Latest DJI Fly app. Latest firmware on RC.

I have this same problem, tried clearing cache, resetting controller, deleting and re-adding the DJI Fly app. Tried formatting SD (suitable card) card.
Restarting phone, drone and RC multiple times.
Thumbnails still show up as black boxes and quick transfer sits at 0%
I can insert SD card into laptop and then upload  to phone but prefer to be able to use quick transfer…appears this is a common problem.

I am having the same issue.
My Drone is DJI Mini 3 (non-pro). I cannot see pictures thumbnails on DJI Fly app e JPG files are always saved in a corrupted format on the SD Card (bought according the recommended list - Kingston 128GB Canvas GO Plus A2).
I did a test to try something different and I noticed if I connect a USB cable directly in the Drone then the JPG files are not corrupted and I can download and see working JPG (I am very confused about this problem).

Smartphone = Iphone 13 PRO (ios latest version)
