I finished updating  Aircraft Firmware to v01.00.0500. But i dont have DJI RC Remote Controller Firmware: v01.02.0500 and still got FlyAPP 1.9.4. Why i cannot upgrade it to 1.9.8? Dji Asistance is saying that v01.00.0400 is current version... I have Dji RC with Mini 3 Pro

I have exactly the same problem. This is really annoying.

Same here as well. Also tried updating DJI Assistant to the new version.
I presume DJI have pulled the RC update. M3P update a bit useless without the RC update required to use the new features.

I've given up. Reinstalled everything, also with the dji assistant 2. nothing. new update not usable, as dji fly app is not updating. this is embaarrassing DJI. period.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Fluggerät und Flysafe aktualisiert aber Fly App nicht auf 1.9.8. Steht immer noch auf 1.9.4. Mitteilung: Firmware ist auf neuestem Stand.
Ich habe RC ohne SD Karte und Fluggerät neu gestartet und abermals versucht. Gleiches Ergebnis.  Wird nicht von 1.9.4 auf 1.9.8 aktualisiert.

Same issue here. Went all the way to factory resetting the DJI RC remote, but that neither solved the issue.

I confirm. RC apparatus and dji fly application are not updating. Thus, updating the drone is useless.

Annnnnnd it is the same here, UK, 29 March, 19:30hrs.  Updated the Mavic 3 Pro no problem, but no 1.9.8 for the RC.   My DJI Fly app updated a couple of days ago!  So have DJI pulled 1.9.8? And is it safe to fly with the older 1.9.4 with the latest Drone firmware?

Same here been around the lot including factory reset no sign of Fly 1.9.8 afterwards or trying via assistant 2 (consumer). Drone updated this afternoon but no RC update anywhere.

DJI has just released 1.9.9. maybe a last minute fix.
They had to stop the deployment the time to fix the problems.
1.9.9 is available on Android smartphone, we have to wait a bit for the rest to follow i think.

Then that was the “issue”. They pulled down the 1.9.8 and now they are preparing the 1.9.9
The iOS app is still on 1.9.8

Only to reconfirm the same problem here. I am scared to test the drone with such results. DJI help us ASAP

Same problem for me : RC does not "see" any available new firmware, stays stuck in 1.9.4.
I guess this problem is known at DJI, and they're working on a fix.

If the interwebs and the culture of instant satisfaction has taught me anything, I know its much better to immediately freak out, lambasting every one/thing that is even remotely responsible. It would also be a great idea to go on social media and try to organize some sort of boycott, if it is at all possible.

Glad to see this thread, thought I was going mad when I couldn't get the app to update. I guess we'll see over the next few days.

They probably should have stopped the drone update if the app that matched and should updated at same time it has a fault.
As it is we probably have a mismatch which might go horribly wrong.

My testing is less than all encompasing. However, It seems to work fine. They are updates to separate systems. The controller software has been around for a minute or two and has been shown to be stable. If there was a reason to pull one, but not the other, Im sure the relationship between the two devices was considered, It is not, at all, uncommon for these components to be updated at different intervals.

Updated to check if everything worked
The update went as it should with wifi and Dji RC and the screen now shows
v01.00.0500.

v01.02.0500

Same here. I have two DJII RC controllers and they both have the same issue.

I was able to update the RC-N1 by using the mobile instead of the DJ assistant, as recommended, but for the RC just no luck with either DJ assistant or the mobile...

There is also a new version of DJ Assistant 2.1.17

Same issue. I updated Mini 3 Pro with RC PRO. Now RC only goes to v01.02.0400. with DJI Assistant or over Air when I roll RC back to .0300. No option for.0500 Firmware. Tried to roll back Aircraft but rolling back prohibited - probably because Remote ID is now on it and cannot be turned off or removed. Great. My RC is now essentially unuseable.
