DJI released the New firmware update today for mini 3 with support of the 48MP photo option. So I went outside for a test. All of these photos are straight-out-of-camera JPGs in bright daylight. I’m not a fan of gigantic megapixels on such a small sensor, there is always a minor difference between them, but it's nice to have this option in case someone needs that.

I just got my mini 3 delivered today. It notified of this update. Have you tried on RAW format as well? It's hard to see the difference in image quality on the web with a phone. What's your opinion on the quality?

just got my mini 3 pro today partly for the 48mp - other than the collision avoidance which is nice, and vertical photo and 4K 60fps im now considering the mini over the pro...

Btw the mini 3 also has try vertical shooting the same as the pro

Some more comparisons zoomed right it; it's fairly easy to see the improved clarity when you zoom right in....

On my android redmi note 8 pro I don't have a photo drop down menu. Only photo or video with no submenu.
App version 1.9.9, drone updated, controler rc-n1 updated.
Anyone have any ideas why I can't see the full menu with tabs AEB, panorama etc?



If I connect the iPhone 11 with the latest application, all tabs are OK.
