Very impressive captures DA.    That last shot shows lots of sitting ground water following all that rain.  Canal is busting at the seams with excess water.

Bit of water there and well captured.

Very interesting shots.

Annoying to the people, nice to look at.

Yes,  there are several places where the same has happened locally,  fortunately the area around the Castle got left off lightly.

The water was moving too fast for either of those options,  and there was a few trees down into the canal as well.

Yes,  I went past some of the flooding yesterday and it's already starting to recede quite a bit which is good.  And the shots I took of the place got used by the town IG account which was also nice.

Thats very true,  the tower is on the side of a hill and there have been many slippages,    most of the side wall is down there in pieces,    you've seen bits of that before with kids climbing on it.

Almost a frost here - more of a bloom on the cars.  And I guess trees and floweres are just as susceptible to the cold as we are

No I didnt,  it was very windy and I didnt want to stay in the air too long,   I really wanted the shots for the local town IG channel,  and I tagged them when I posted and they reposted them.
