Update and Edit from my OP.
I have achieved a successful Compass Calibration as comfirmed by the LED indicators. However, in the App, in the Compass Calibration section.... "Calibrate" is still highlighted, and when I access the "?" button, it suggests a fresh calibration. Is this just a standard reminder, regardless of the success of the calibration process?
Second part of the problem is lack of GPS reception. My location is a know good spot... my Phantom 2 had no problem quickly locking onto GPS.
Not so with the P3P.
