Assuming you are talking about the previous model P2V+, you will need to update the Zen IMU to the most current firmware. But once you do this you will not get proper function from the older transmitter (if you've done the 7th channel tilt lever mod).

The newest firmware must be in place to use the new tilt dial controller. And you will need to calibrate it in the assistant software. But it is totally worth it!!!!

The Phantom V2 Tx will work on the Vision.  I used it on a IR demonstration project recently.  No issues.

Got it and love it !!! Did not care for the lock down but just bent the little piece inside the TX up a small bit and now it's just right !!
