I've been to the Big Island of Hawaii a few times now.  I was just there again last month.  I thought I would share a few tips for anyone planning on going.  Hopefully, this is useful to a few of you.

Agreed...tried to keep it fairly 'generic'.  Felt like I get a little to 'technical' sometimes.  I forget lots of folks out there flying for the first time....some of us have been at this a while...

Yeah, I've been there a few times.  Not a bad flight if you live on the West Coast.  But, it's a long flight coming from the East Coast.

The island looks great.

It's gorgeous!   My favorite part is the wildlife....love seeing sea-turtles out there when I'm snorkeling.  Sharks I can do without!

LOL...thanks!  My wife was giving me a hard time.  Asking 'what are you doing'.  Had to explain it to her...thanks for noticing.      Takes a bit of planning for those types of shots...

Yes it was on my 'bucket list' of places to capture some great aerial shots.
