well, magpies get sometimes very close but never in a collision yet....

Flying at 100 meters is better, no magpies at that height.
Guess its nest time for them, so they defend their grassland area.

Lovely flight over the bulb fields - fantastic colour. Here, the magpies are outnumbered by the jackdaws.

Lovely now that spring has sprung into action.

Finally !   few weeks too late bc the last months temperature < normal  ; flowers colouring bit lateHappily where i live not too much flower fields, farmers uses a lot of chemical pesticide, really bad for the envirionment.

It's been the same here.  Although the bluebell woods were lovely,  and the Mini3 picks up the blue really well.   Although flying in the woods you do get some looks.

Yes.  It's lovely really,  although the old ladies passing were quite surprised to see it.

Lovely views and lots of colors.    Great job on this video JJB*.

I think you will find the birds are Oyster Catchers and not Magpies .... unless "Magpie" is the Dutch name for them. Oyster Catchers are a threat to drones.

No problem, it's just that where I live there are often large flocks of Oyster Catchers and quite a few Magpies.
