Hello together!

I am struggling with one thing when shooting for cinematic after movies, and want to know if I am doing something wrong within my workflow.

So I am normally shooting with 25fps and double the shutter speed (1/50).
Now to the problem: I have many shots that I want to have in slow motion. Therefore I always have to change my fps rate as well as the shutter speed (+ ND filter depending on the light).

For me this change of settings is really getting me tired.

How do you guys handle this?

TIA

I think 'cinematic' has little to do with what you are writing about.
A framerate won't make a video look cinematic.
The operator behind the knobs makes a video look cinematic.
I never change my framerate, since I want to be able to slow down in post, I choose 50fps. (so I can slow it down)
Motion blur won't make your video look cinematic either.
Having a 'too' fast shutterspeed 'can' create some stuttery footage, but only if you move the camera quickly (which is usually not considered cinematic).
So I would not focus (pun intended) too much on these technical details.
It is how you tell your story with the footage that makes a video look cinematic.
These technical details are (IMHO) less important than learning 'how' you can capture something in a visually pleasing (cinematic) way!
