Any pilots in Spain / Costa Blanca are online?

I was under the impression that Spain had a total ban on them, is that so?

Not that I know. They are used here frequently by professional photographers. However, it might be true that they are banned, but who cares....

Apparently there is only 1 qualified pilot legally allowed to fly in Spain

I only prohibited in Spain if you use a professional level , but particularly com if you can out of the nuclei urbans.yo have a phantom 2 v.2 and I am Spanish .

Of course professional use is forbiden unless you inform AESA what you are going to do where also including your certificación as an operator  & cetified pilot , but if not professional  use you can only fly at rc fields, no other chance. just take a look at the new law which was published by last July, 4th, 2014

As I understand the new regulations they only apply for professional use of drones.
I am not completely sure, but as I have got it translated this new regulations do not regulate drone flying as a private hobby.
