I had an old cellular iPad that we didn't use anymore so I used that line. It is $10 a month through AT&T

Do you need data enabled or texting?   The owner's manual is a bit sketchy on these things :-)

Depends if you use GPRS data or text messages.

The best plan, IMHO is the H2o $10 for 3 months and just use GPRS data.

i agree.  i have the H2O plan, and it works great.  found this on another forum to enable the ability to track it via the website.

this is the command that I sent to set my APN using my H2O account, apn,att.mvno#. This should get you to connect with gps123.org. Remember to set the time interval to the shortest to get good gps lock so you can get the google map coordinates, tim,1#.
