After doing some research I can see that this has popped up from time to time over the years. Most often it was after a firmware update when settings were put back to default.
The most common fix was logging off. Shutting down the Fly app and restarting and logging back in and resetting all your parameters.
Sorry - that's all I've got if you already tried that.
I wish I read this before upgrading the controller firmware today. After the upgrade, things looked ok. I started flying the drone over my son's sailing regatta. After about 500m I got the "max flight distance reached" warning. I tried to bring the drone back, but it would not come back fully (it was still out some 50m), no matter what I tried. Eventually, one of the boats hit it and it went for a swim. This is not the right way to do a firmware upgrade, DJI. I do hope they take responsibility for destroying my drone! |
