Thank you, I have gained a lot from your Videos and Tutorials. You should think about doing some instructional DVDs on Videos with the DJI Products and FCPX.

I don't know Jim, everything that you come up with is of interest to me. Exposure, FCPX, Luts ??

I like the video but not the quality if that's the best it does and or the processed uploaded was degraded.  I think your work is fabulous otherwise..

It's certainly pushing the X3 to its limits.  The X5R would be nice!

Hi Rodger,

I think you're looking at PureSQNut's edit.     Mine is the first on the first page and his edit is a few posts down..

He did his in Premiere and I'm guessing the type was done there.   It's more of a wipe with sound effects than a type on though, the letters should appear complete rather than wipe through.

I watched the videos again and had a flash back of what the definition of fear is-

This was before all of the battery firmware updates. I would not want to chance it now after the sudden battery drops!

Hi PureSQNut - I am in the East Bay (Bay Point), work in So SF so travel quite a bit. It would be great to hook up and take the Aircrafts for a spin, I have the Inspire 1 and the Pro. I have also taken off from Treasure Island, was trying to get to Angel Island (capture the distance)

Thanks Gbankshi.  I'm originally from the South Bay but have lived in Australia for decades now.

I use Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.   I made some tutorials on both here:

In my experience, as long as you start off with a battery that has gone thru a full charging cycle and there is no deviations in cell voltage at start I have had ZERO problems. As long as I follow those two basics I have total trust in the batteries. (knock on wood)

Sorry for the long delay in reply as I have been occupied for a few months with a newborn at home.

Yes that is quite the distance and with the unpredictable winds out there that is a feat on the available battery times we have.

I have my I1 back at DJI having a few things done including the full X5 upgrade (long story as I had an incident with the X3 (not the I1, just the X3) and should have it back sometime next week.

I would love to meet up and go for a spin as I found out with Jim a tandem flight with two people with some level of experience cane make for some incredible footage..

I agree with your assessment of battery management, I follow these steps as well. I am hoping that DJI gives us some new battery options on the next firmware update
