Hey Guys,

This video was born out of the sheer number of times I went out to shoot a quick piece of video or test something with my Mini 3 Pro and I didn't have an SD card installed in the drone or any to pilfer from another device. Using internal storage was faster and easier than making the trek back home to grab a card.

That is why you should always carry extra sd cards. Come in folks, sd cards are cheap asf these days. I can get a 64gb extreme SanDisk on Amazon for $10. Or a 128gb extreme SanDisk for $15. That 1gb internal storage is crap. Sure it's good for taking photos, but if you taking videos, it is trash. Just carry extra sd cards in your bag.

Yes, of course and I think most folks do carry spares or at least have another device - RC controller, camera, GoPro, etc - they can poach from in a pinch. Those ideas were subtly or not-so-subtly shown in the opening. :-)

The point was more about what you can do with internal storage and how to use it should the need arise.

This week has started off very hot and humid so been trying to get indoor things done or get in a couple of scuba dives.  Temps been around 38C high with 95-98% humidity.

Yes, I think the climate change is really effecting our temperatures.  It definitely keeps the sale of Air Conditioners up and I have no doubt the Air Conditioners repairman are super busy this time of year.

I went to Sydney and found I had no card, but there was a slowcard in the RC. I'm going to keep a spare 64 in the phone, I think.

I didnt think of using internal, because I keep it filled up with junk, so the red button looks faded when I have no card in the drone.
