I use PTGui.  Had it for 5 years or more.
I use it for all my flat Panoramas, and sphericals too.

You live in some nice area, or are traveling.  I'm stuck with essentially the "desert" of southern California.

Hey John,
That is a great picture.
But if you don't mind me saying, I think a better image is contained in the RH 30% of that image, the road going around the mountain.
Sometimes if you make an image too wide it gets very, very shallow and quite difficult to visualise.  I have read that an aspect ratio of about 3:1 suits the eye and brain best.
Please post some more.

I love that picture, it looks great.

Were you in a boat to take it or on the Isle itself?

Thank you 08,
I was on the Island.
I have overcome my fear of flying over water, IMHO the best shots are around the coast.
Other side of the coin is if I get a failure, then there is really no recovery.

Yea, but there wouldn't be much to recover if it failed at that height over land either.

Just curious, how far away were you?

Click on Advanced at the far-right of the dialogue box.
Then click on picture, then upload.
Then you post it, but it won't show up yet. You have to go back into the same post by clicking Edit, then it will say you have a picture ready to use, so you click on Use for it to (finally) show up.
lt's a bit of a tuckle.

I did want 360 deg, but you have a great point about it being too much, 'specially as I looked at printing such and it would be something like 18 ft X 13" or something.

Santa Clarita Valley - about 20 miles north of Los Angeles.  Google 91321 will show it.

This one is sunset in Malibu.   I think I used auto settings, as the images came out grainy, I find that auto usually will push the ISO up to high on lower light shots. (Which is ok if you need to capture motion, not so much for statis scenery) Kinda wish they had Time/ISO priority settings. The manual mode is ok but sorta kludgy to me.
