It was a bit windy so I did not get the shots that I wanted. But this is what I did get.

Thank you. I could not get the still shots I wanted from the wind had to set the ISO up high. I like to set it at a 100 and do a longer exposure. Had to fight the wind more then taking the video and photos. Like this photo I did the nigh before came out much better had the ISO set at 100.

That one was 4sec. Had no wind. She sat there nice and still for me that night. At times I have it open up to 6sec and they came out pretty good :-)

The one with the moon like a flash light, that i combined 1/20 100 ISO stills into one as the wind was not hepling, the other one was 1 sec 100 ISO and gave it a face lift in photoshop.

When I was flying there was a lady taking pictures of the moon. She came over to me and started talking to me. She said to me. Thats a really nice toy you got. So I showed it to her and told her how it works and how high it can go. I told in the USA the limit is 400 feet. Than she told that she owned a small airplane. So I started thinking here we go you guys and your drones. But it was nice it did not turn out that way. She even was giving tips on the settings that she used to take her photos :-)

Glad it turned out none confrontational, I don't let people come to me, i ask them to come to me and look at what i am doing because there is one type of people you need to be aware of,  the type that can get aggressive if not included in something they don't feel they belong to or feel left out from due to any emotional or financial barriers they might have.

Nice shot. I also try different white balance it depends on the lighting. Like when I shoot over a lot of street lights try setting it to neon. It makes a big difference in the color of them orange color street lights. Where did you take them photos at?

Thats pretty much what I do. Just with that wind I had to really keep a eye on the bird. So far all that I have talked to all turned out good. Once you show them and they understand how it works and your not that bad guy you see on TV. It has turned out good.

One thing I used to do when I was doing astrophotography (taking pictures of planets, nebula, galaxies, etc) was take multiple short exposure shots and STACK them to get a very detailed photo in the end.  Now I know there's a huge difference between photographing a few light years away and photographing a few 100 feet away, but the basis should be the same.  Just a thought on windy days, maybe take some shorter exposures and stack a few dozen of them and see what you get!

Boy I wish I still did!  This was back many MANY years ago when I owned the Celestron N8 telescope (dinosaur by today's new advances)  I miss those days, but hated lugging everything out to clear open skies.  That picture of Hale-Bopp is spectacular!  Great job!
